6 Things To Know

I’m a Nurse, Not a Doctor

I provide evidence-based information and guidance based on 30+ years of nursing practice, not diagnoses or medical treatment.

No Fluff, Just Facts

I’ll break down complex health topics into clear, easy-to-understand insights in both my YouTube videos, and while chatting with you.

Respect for Your Choices

I support your health decisions and provide unbiased information to help you make them.

Guidance Not Fear

My goal is to inform and empower, never to scare or mislead.

Your Questions Matter

I’ll listen, engage, and tailor content to what you actually need to know.

Transparency Always

If I don’t know something, I’ll say so—no false claims here.

“Sure-why not.”

That’s how my career started 34 years ago when a friend randomly asked me to go to nursing school with her. I had no idea that one spontaneous decision would lead to a lifelong passion.

Since then, I’ve worked in critical care, the operating room, medical offices, pharma, home care, infusion therapy—you name it. But about two years ago, I found myself frustrated while searching YouTube for simplified, up-to-date medical information for a patient. Everything I found was either outdated or full of inaccuracies. That’s when I thought, I can do this better… and Lucid Med was born.

Since launching, Lucid Med has grown to 40K subscribers with over 3.5 million views. I’ve personally responded to over 10,000 comments, helping people directly with their health questions. My mission is simple: make medical information clear, accurate, and accessible—while bringing empathy and the human touch back into healthcare.
